Types of Classes

Anyone can start a yoga practice, even if you don’t feel like you are very flexible or very strong. These things improve the longer you practice. One of the most difficult, but ultimately most liberating, things about yoga is letting go of the ego and accepting that no one is better than anyone else. Everyone is just doing their best on any given day.

Free Community Offering

Each week we offer a free class to the public. We believe yoga should be available to all. 4-5 pm Sundays, it's a Joyful Flow (slow flow) with a 15 minute sound healing.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is gentle, slow and mostly floor-based. It includes holding poses for a longer time and the use of props for comfort. A great class for beginners, or those who want to move a little less. You'll walk away relaxed and restored.

Mindful / Joyful / Slow Flow Yoga

These classes have a general vinyasa flow, but without the more intense planks, pushups, and fast-paced sequences. You'll do many of the common poses, and enjoy time seated as well as standing. Great for beginners as well as seasoned yogis.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa flow begins on the ground, moves to standing flows and balancing poses, and then goes back to the ground for more. It can be somewhat challenging, but not incredibly fast-paced. A great blend. Good for all levels.

These classes include the benefits of yoga with the heat of a workout. You'll challenge yourself a bit more, work a little faster and add in abs and more active poses. All levels welcome, however due to the fast pace you may want to be sure you're familiar with the poses and proper alignment.

Gentle Flow

Hatha yoga is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. Vinyasa yoga focuses on connecting the breath to your movements, which tend to be set at a faster pace.
