Sense of Samadhi yoga studio opened in 2011, bringing together teachers from a rich combination of traditions. We are committed to creating and nourishing a yoga community through a variety of ongoing classes, as well as special events and workshops.
Our downtown studio is located in a beautiful brownstone with wood floors, plenty of light, and a welcoming and authentic vibe.
We have a free weekly yoga class and free weekly meditation class for the community, because we believe spiritual practice should be accessible to all.
"We believe that yoga can fit the needs of anyone who wishes to try it. You can have any kind of body type, be any age, be fit or unfit, have injuries, be flexible, or, for that matter, feel mostly inflexible. All bodies are different, and yoga is as much about getting stronger as it is about becoming more flexible."
Tairi Grace, Studio Owner
In addition to our full schedule of classes, we host many workshops and special events. These are a great opportunity to try out yoga and other healing arts and meet others in our community. We have sound healings, Reiki events, glow yoga, yoga with puppies, Ayurveda, chakra workshops and much more.
If you want to take your classes in peace and just come in and out, that's fine. But you'll find a warm and welcoming community here if that's what you're looking for.
Don't miss our community little free library and the products from local artisans. You'll often find fresh flowers brought in from someone's garden, or maybe even farm-fresh eggs. Come often enough, and you'll feel like family.
We also have one free yoga class per week and have offered a free meditation class every Tuesday night at 8:15 pm for more than 8 years.
Looking for a unique birthday party or girls night out? Want to host a relaxing event for your workplace focusing on wellness and self care? Maybe you'd like private yoga lessons so you can learn more about the practice outside of group classes. We can accommodate private lessons, classes and events of all kinds.
